Winnie & Walter Leading Lady, Take 3

Carson_Riutta_september2016

Hello friends and family, it’s Saturday again and that means another post from your Winnie & Walter September Leading Lady.  I’ve been thoroughly enjoying the products and the community over at Winnie & Walter and I urge all you stampers that may not have given them a try, to do so.  The products really are top notch and the community over on the blog is passionate and active and therefore a lot of fun!

Winnie and Walter September Leading Lady Purple Kindness Card by Carson Riutta

I have a set of three Kindness cards that I’m sharing over at the Winnie & Walter blog today.  So please head over to read the full post.  But before you go, don’t forget to comment below for a chance to win your very own $30 Winnie & Walter gift card.  If you comment on all of my Saturday posts this month you will receive an extra VIP entry into the drawing (which is really just a fancy way to say you’ll be entered five times instead of four).  I’ll be randomly choosing a winner from all the entries at the end of the month.

Carson, your cards over at W&W were first to catch my eye this morning so I’m dashing over here, breathless with awe, to let you know how absolutely beautiful they are! The vibrant colours, the misting/stenciling, the black/white contrasts of the sentiment and florals….incredibly striking; incredibly eye-catching! The diagonal lines on the sentiment panel add such impact! Inspired and inspiring….going back to W&W/s place for more gazing and admiring! Easy to see why you were selected as a Leading Lady: your creativity is stellar!

Lovely cards. The black and white imagines really help the card pop. As you said it is often hard to decide how to finish a very bright background. Thanks for the inspiration.

  22. Maye M.L. - September 22, 2016

Your card set is astonishing. What a beautiful way to contrast the graphic nature of the blooms with the impact of the background pieces. Ready to CASE your designs with some of my out-of-control stash of bold pattern papers. Also, with some of those messy watercolor pieces I had no courage to throw away. Cheers!
