Patterned Paper: Fold and Send Stationery

patterned paper stationery

I’ve always had a thing for those fold and send stationery pads.  There are a few stashed away in my paper drawer, but I thought it would be fun to make my own out of my myriad of craft supplies. I started with a one-sided kraft and teal striped paper, folded it into a rectangle and began to embellish.   A little ink, an over-sized flower stamp, two journaling cards, washi tape and some bits and pieces later I had a fun little work of art to send to my college roommate.

I wrote my letter in the open space, folded it neatly, made my own wraparound address labels from a piece of sticker paper and a roller stamp. All I have left to do is drop it in the mail.

This is a quick and easy project that screams for a personal touch.  It’s also a great way to use those supplies you can’t see yourself using on more serious projects; those patterned papers you often pass by and the stickers you never seem to use.  I know I’ll do this project again and again; and no two will look the same.

Thanks for stopping by, I hope your mail today is happy!

Thanks, its so easy to make pretty things when you have pretty supplies. I’m slightly addicted to journaling cards right now so I’m trying to use them wherever I can!
