Project Life: Bub’s First Year

Project-Life-Title-BlogI warned you I would be sharing my Project Life spreads and here is the first of many. Until now I haven’t been a scrapbooker, but this PL format is really appealing to my sense of style and ease.  I can see myself keeping up with it and having fun making each spread fun and playful.  This particular spread is a flashback of the Bub’s first year, month by month. It’s so fun to see how he changed during that first year and now that we have the second kiddo, it’s great to compare their progress.  Eamon's-first-year-page-1-full-blogOne of the most popular ways to use PL is to document life week by week.  I’ve decided that the weekly approach isn’t for me.  I’m not great at reaching for the camera on a daily basis and I can’t imagine endless laundry loads and hours of “What not to Wear” would be exciting to look back on over the years.  So my approach is going to be much more like traditional scrapbooking, highlighting the events and changes in our lives.  I hope you guys find this interesting or at least fun for a quick look.Eamon's-first-year-page-2-full-blogHave a great weekend friends!  I’ll be back with more snail mail inspiration on Monday.

  1. I really love this! I’m just getting into Project Life (I plan on starting in Jan) and love seeing layouts. :) Great job!

Thank you, I was going to wait until January too, but then I just had to start, the supplies were calling to me. I just checked out your gorgeous blog. That header is beautiful!
