So “Hello!” friends. My world has been busy but small since we parted ways in February. I’ve been living life under a blanket of hormones, or maybe just slugging through the fog that comes with sleepless nights and newborn babies. Whatever it was, my head is clear; my neurons are firing and I’m itching to get back to the things that make me tick, creating with paper and connecting with the world at large.
There have been a few changes in my life since I posted last.
1. We welcomed this little bundle into the world; we’ll call him Ro-bear for the purposes of this blog.
He is a big boy at 2 months and is providing my resistance workout just by being lugged around all day. He began smiling and cooing this past week. I’m pretty smitten with him and I’m sure you’ll be hearing more, about him and his big brother, than you may have bargained for.
2. A few weeks before the birth we went and bought this.
We’re first time homeowners and so far have been keeping up with all the new challenges that brings. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with my hubby’s new-found handyman skills. He has already fixed a toilet, installed some shelves in the kitchen and done heaps of yard work, I’m so proud, and grateful!
3. I’ve decided to cut back on making items for my shop. I will still sell my cards but won’t be doing any new product development or custom work. Which hopefully means more time spent here on the blog and at the crafting table creating the things I love.
4. And; finally, I started a Project Life album in October. For those of you who aren’t familiar with this paper crafting craze; you can check it out here. I’m not doing so much of a week by week format, but more of a highlight reel. I’ll be posting my favorite spreads here on the blog occasionally, so consider yourselves warned.
I’m most excited to get back in contact with all my online friends and confidants, so please leave me a comment letting me know what you’ve been up to, or a link to your latest and greatest adventures.
It’s great to be back!
